Escape the Labyrinth (March 2016)
"Escape the Labyrinth" is a 2D PacMan style game I created at Parsons School of Design in the Spring of 2016 using Unity 3D. The objective of the game is to collect all the treasure and escape the maze while avoiding the ravenous Minotaur. However, if you get into a jam, you can activate your ghost ability to pass through walls for a limited time.
Inspired by the Greek Myth "Theseus and the Minotaur", "Escape the Labyrinth" was an attempt to capture the terror of being stalked by a silent killer similar to Jason Voorhees or Bruce the Shark. With this project, I challenged myself to recreate the terror and suspense of a horror movie without making the player feel too powerless.
